of guitarist Ted Nugent, focusing on Ted's main choice
of guitar chords used for composition, and teaching
some of his classic song intro's and guitar riff's,
taught in easy to learn simplified song arrangement's
based upon Ted's original studio recording's and live
performance's.
Part 1
Many of Ted's song's are played in the key of A and
rely on the power 5th chords as shown below. These chord's
are played using the frethand index finger to fret the roote
note (the first note played that gives the chord it's
given letter name) as the notes on the D and G string's are
played by "barring" with the frethand ring or pinky finger.
Part 2
Teaches the 2 string version of these chords that may be
played by barring the frethand index or ring finger. If you
plan on learning Ted Nugent songs, make these chords a
priority to learn.
Part 3 demonstrates the use of these chords in simplified
guitar song arrangements.

Ted Nugent * Cat Scratch Fever
For best results when fretting these chords, use your
index finger to barre the open A powerchord on the D and
G strings, while leaving the A string open. Use your ring
finger to play the B and C powerchords on the 4th and 5th
frets of the D and G string in a "tilted" barred position.
Press down firmly when making the slide from the 4th to
5th fret. And be agressive when adding the vibrato.
