for Ska guitar tabs, lessons or sheet music.
A question you may have as a guitar player is "what really
makes Ska~tick?" or.."What do ska guitar players play?"
In otherwords, what are the elements of Ska guitar.
One very important element of ska guitar is the 2 string
chording. Much Ska guitar consist of major and minor chords
as well as 5th chords (powerchords), and often consist of
simple yet effective strumming patterns, using the B and
small E string (The 2 smallest strings).
The next series of free lessons to follow will focus on the
basic elements of Ska guitar. The chords that are used, as
well as their formulas, strumming and muting techniques.
Beginning with this lesson, for now just focus on becomming
familiar with the shapes, names and fingerings of these Ska
guitar chords.

Ska Guitar Review
As a follow up to yesterdays lesson, this lesson is
substituting the ending chord Emin, for the chord G5.
It's best to review all the information you have learned
so far on ska guitar chords, and focus on learning and
memorizing the names of each chord, as well as identifying
the difference in sound.
