This lesson demonstrates the use of "doublestops" and
powerchords which were used to compose the "song intro"
taught below. "Doublestops" are often referred to as
playing 2 strings together. Along with the use of "double-
stops" (mostly used for lead guitar licks) and heavily
distorted powerchords, another common method of writing
and playing punk guitar is often based upon the motion
of half steps (the distance of moving 1 fret).
