Jimi Hendrix * Foxy Lady Guitar Lesson

This famous classic was based on F# minor blues scale.
Example #1 shows the intense vibrato (song intro). This
guitar trick sound is known as a volume swell. This trick 
may be performed beginning with the guitar volume knob
completely off, as you add heavy vibrato while slowy 
increasing the volume to full gain.

Example #2 is showing the main riff which clearly demonstrates 
the use of F# blues minor scale, followed by the solo intro and 
beginning guitar solo lick.

Example #1 is showing the actual guitar lick from this lead 
guitar solo. 

Example #2 is the F# pentatonic minor ascending run, followed 
by example #3 descending. 

The notes played are the same as the pentatonic box F#,A,B,C#,E, 
then back to F# played in an octave.

Example #1 clearly demonstrates the use of this guitar run as 
shown in example #3.
