Jazz Guitar Chords & Arpeggios
Jazz Guitar Arpeggio * G7
Arpeggio's are chords played in single notes rather
than strummed. Many jazz guitar greats from Charlie
Parker to Pat Metheney use arpeggios as part of jazz
guitar solo's. To utilize arpeggios to their maximum
potential, all relies on how well you know the names
of the notes, and understand the basics of chord formulas.
Chord formulas are built upon intervals. Example #1
teaches G major scale, showing the 8 intervals below.
