Blues Guitar Monotonic Bass
A simple explanation of "Monotonic Bass" would be to say
that this technique provides a steady rhythm background,
while playing chords, or notes in between. The idea is to
play the bass notes (largest string) with your frethand
thumb, while playing the chords between the bass notes.
This technique is common among Lightning Hopkins and
Muddy Waters. If you're familiar with their style of
playing, you'll more than likely recognize this technique.
