This lesson teaches the basic format for playing a blues
rhythm in the key of C. This is often referred to as 
3 chord blues or a 3 chord blues progression.

               Correct Frethand Fingerings

As an example shown in the diagram below, the frethand
index finger frets all notes played on the large E string
8th fret, while the ring finger plays the notes shown 10th 
fret. While keeping your frethand fingers in this position,
the notes played on the 12th fret are played using the pinky
finger, which requires a dramatic stretch. While difficult
at first, this exercise becomes routine after practice and 
is the heart and foundation for nearly all forms of blues
ryhthm guitar. The fingerings remain the same throughout
all parts played.
